Roger "Ro" Malaga
Roger Ro Malaga has performed in routines choreographed by Alex Mango, Dave Scott, Lisette Bustamonte, Chonique Sneed, Justin Wright, and Kevin Maher (choreographers and/or dancers of Justin Timberlake, B2k, P Diddy, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Madonna and Jay Z). Ro performed as a principle dancer in Disney Channel’s productions of High School Musical and High School Musical II. Ro assisted Kenny Ortega and Bonnie Story in High School Musical 2 auditions in St. George Utah and assisted Charles Klapow in High School Musical on Ice auditions in Las Vegas. Ro is a guest choreographer and judge for the NBA Utah Jazz dancer auditions. Back up dancer and choreographer for ex NBA star Thurl Bailey. He is the choreographer/dancer/dance director for ABA team Utah Snow Bears. Ro has choreographed for ABC’s “Taste of a Nation” national commercial and the choreographer for Radio Disney’s RD Frequency a professional singing and dancing group for Disney AM 910 in Salt Lake City Utah. Ro has toured with the professional dance show “Origins” directed by Rick Robinson and a member of the professional break dance group F.B.I. for 4 years. Ro is a professional hip hop dancer and choreographer and has been a part of multiple professional performances and taught master classes in many area studios. Ro has trained in Break Dancing, Hip Hop, Funk, Capoeira (Brazilian dance fighting), Kung Fu, and is fluent in Spanish.
